TIP: To keep your sprinkler system working properly you must keep your sprinkler heads clean and free of debris. Make sure that grass is trimmed properly around the sprinkler head to insure optimal performance.. and always make sure that there is no sand in your system to avoid clogging or plugged sprinkler screens..
You’ll know when a valve is stuck because your sprinklers will continue running after they’re supposed to shut of. Many times a chunk of debris or small rock is blocking the valve from closing and shutting off the water flow.
